Being Kind
Being kind is such a rare jewel these days,
People often mistake these gems as fake,
But i don't think their judgement is in vain,
I mean people cherish inflicting pain
Being kind is foolish these days,
People often abuse your loving ways,
They strike you, sometimes leave you blind
yet these people still stay kind
Being kind is not as easy as it looks,
these people care more about you, you crook
They'd gladly do a chore or two,
as long as it's primary goal is to help you.
Being kind is as selfless as it can be,
I just wish people can appreciate how great it can be,
if everyone was just kind enough
you'll stand out like a diamond in the rough
