Love conquers all

The Philippines is an 11 letter word that describes all of us Filipinos. It has 7,107 islands, divided into 3 main geographic groups of islands, 17 regions, 80 provinces, 145 cities and almost over a hundred million Filipinos that makes the Philippines, Philippines.

Many years had passed after the dominated people came, we Filipinos fought for our freedom. It seems that these groups of people influence us on many things such as the religion, beliefs, and values that we have right now. And now we used these influence culture in our daily lives. And that was the native people in our country called Filipinos.

Starting on the mixture of beliefs that we have, Filipinos is like a pizza having a lot of toppings on the top of it. Before it was cooked, the flattened dough added many toppings to become delicious and make it more beautiful. Just like us, we are the flattened dough that has simple trademarks but these superior people mold and influence us many values and beliefs that make the Filipinos become better.

We Filipinos have absolute power that no one can defeat it. Even in the midst of crisis, and danger, we are used to smiling. A smile is the best way to take off our pains and suffering. This is one of the best symptomatic doings that we can conserve forever. I think we Filipinos choose to smile in pains to embolden every Filipino to stand up rather than to feel dolefulness and give up.

Another dominant characteristic of a Filipino is we always choose to love. We know that hatred was always conquered by love. We always open our hearts to everyone we love even if we hate that person in our minds. We Filipinos have the strong attachment that we cannot remove.

I just want to hear that Filipinos proudly says that "I am a Filipino a fearless and we always stand up."

We have our own culture and beliefs, But outsiders thought us to become independent and develop ourselves. A true native citizen of the republic of the Philippines knows how to love and smile always in the midst of pain and suffering. And I am proudly saying that "I am a Filipino."
