Pitch-dark Days
To the people who were killed,
To those parents who lost their sons and daughters,
Here I speak for each one of you.
Apo is the reason why they felt that pain
in those pitch-dark days.
Pitch-dark days that awfully brings them nightmares.
Every minute of their life,
They will always remember what happened back then in 1972
Also known as Martial Law
They will never forget that year,
Or what we call the pitch-dark days of their life.
Even if they try to forget,
They will never able to do so.
It’s now part of their life.
No one can ever change that anymore.
I just want to say in our generation today
We should never forget what happened in our history
The kind of pain and sufferings
That has brought us by the Martial Law.
