Zombie Apocalypse in the Philippines

Philippines has a population of approximately 100 million. It is approximately three hundred thousand square kilometers and comprises over seven thousand one hundred and seven islands. But what if zombies will invade the country and as a Filipino, what will you do?

Filipinos has one of the best traits in the world. Hospitable is one of the most popular qualities of Filipinos. Imagine zombies who have gone to the Philippines and find themselves falling in love for their hospitality. Welcoming them to the house of a Filipino family because of this so called hospitality, it would be easier for them to eat a human flesh. Another characteristic of a Filipino is being helpful and generosity. Again, imagine a Filipino helping a zombie to aid his open wound and will give a decent clothes because we all know that zombies dressed in ripped clothes. This is really funny and a sad truth at the same time because of the Filipino characteristics, even zombies will also have a pleasure for that.

Despite grinding poverty, many Filipinos survive. But how will they survive if there’s a zombie attacking them and they just lived in garbage dumps? Remember, there’s a hero’s blood running on our veins. We can be fearless heroes like Lapu-Lapu, Andres Bonifacio and Jose Rizal who can defend our own homeland. Being brave will be our greatest weapon to zombies. We are also in close relationship with our neighbors. In barangays and most subdivisions, the people in the neighborhood know each other, talk each other, help each other, and protect each other. Because of the unity or the “bayanihan” of the Filipinos, we can easily defeat those dead creatures that have been brought back to life. That's how Filipinos are. These are just some Filipino traits that you must know and you should learn so when time pass by and there’s a real zombie apocalypse in the Philippines, you will know what you are going to do. Then let’s serve as a model of these good traits to inspire our countrymen to do the same.
