TRUE BLOODED PINOY
There are so many
words that can define what a Filipino is God- fearing, industrious, cheerful,
optimistic, hospitable and etc. When you look at those people that are crossing
the streets, almost all of them are Filipinos with different personalites. Some
may be good and some may be bad but one thing for sure is that we are all
Filipinos and our love for our country is indestructible. That’s why I love
being a Filipino.
Another reason why I
love being a Filipino is that we always smile. Even though we are experiencing
heartbreaks, disasters and trials we still smile. Smiling doesn’t mean that we
don’t care, it means that we trust and believe in God no matter what. Filipino
are also learners. We try to learn the culture of the different countries and
study their language as well so we can get to know and understand them. We also
love to celebrate even the small things so that’s why we have a lot of
festivals here.
We Filipinos are all
different in lot of ways. We all have different perspectives in life. We fight
for what we believe is right and we live our lives the way we wanted to. We’re
not afraid to face and tell the world that we can fight. So with all those
reasons I’m proud to say that I’m a Filipino. And when the time comes that
Philippines is a land which could hardly be recognized I will still love it
because this is my country that I call my own.
