What do I know
About the Martial Law
That, I can't fully answer
For I was not there
But that doesn't mean that I don't care
Decades after the dictator's reign
And I can still feel
The anger, the sorrow, and the pain
It's like seeing the blood
The blood that was shed
By those innocent lives
While I look above the sky
I see stars and sometimes wonder
How does it feel to live during those years
After a while I'll take it back
I just couldn't imagine the life way back
Days seem so dark
There ere shouting and crying
But no one is hearing it
How cruel and inhumane
Oh, it's such a shame
I used to believe that scars do heal
But these scars, nope
I believe they can't be healed
