The Punishment - Karl Vincent I. Mercado
THE PUNISHMENT
A Day full of mysteries,
Load of lies and secrets,
Promises that are meant,
For the goodness of the people.
Happiness leads to pain,
Lucent to Dimmed,
It may be brutal; but
Somehow taught us treasure.
Mankind needs equity,
That fails them.
Curse that will never be forgotten,
Leave a mark to the hearts of the people.
Greatness became distress,
They fight for their bloods,
To gain food and justice,
Overcome the burdens in life.
